Question: "Do the resonant tom or snare heads ever wear out? Do you ever have to replace them?"
My answer: Resonant tom heads don't really wear out a lot, but as with any material made of oil, they can dry over an extended period of time. So if you feel adventurous, why don't you try and change them once in a while, just to see what happens?
